solar can be used for almost anything

A customer called and asked for help securing the HOA pool. We installed several cameras, a keypad at the front gate, and installed a maglock at the back gate.  Since there was no power anywhere near the back gate, we designed a solar solution to secure the back gate. The solar panel charges a 12 volt battery and since all the equipment runs on 12 volts, it draws its power from the battery. The battery keeps it secure at night when the sun is not shining and during the day, the solar recharges the battery.
