Solar Wellhouse

A customer called and wanted to replace their existing 240 volt well pump with an off grid solar well pump with additional water storage. So we installed a solar well pump 150 ft down and had it fill a 550 gallon storage tank. The water then flows out the bottom of the storage tank and 2-24 volt water pumps pump it into the pressure tank that then sends it up to the house. The well house has 6-in thick walls with double insulation and in the middle of winter gets down to only 40°. The water in the storage tank keeps the water from freezing in the winter time.
